Route 133 will travel as normal from Kirkby to Bridges Lane (Sefton), then (at Lunt Avenue) left via Coachmans Lane, Brickwall Lane, Brooms Cross Road, Park View (A565), Quarry Road, Moor Lane, then as normal route to Waterloo (omitting Lunt Road, Long Lane and a section of Southport Road). This service will return via the reverse of this route.

Passengers travelling towards Waterloo should board at the existing stops on Bridges Lane, near Coachmans Lane (in Sefton Village) and Park View, near Green Lane (in Thornton).
Passengers travelling towards Kirkby should board this service at the existing stops on Quarry Road, near Virgins Lane (in Thornton) and Bridges Lane, near Sefton Mill Lane (in Sefton Village).
